Soweto IT Genii Company imparts its Ace expertise to communities

The South African skills environment does a lot to recognize Information Technology (IT) professionals however, one group of IT experts go unrecognized – Township Ones.
It was in the Autumn of 2018 when two young IT and Public Relations (PR) connoisseurs and entrepreneurs; Vusimuzi Ngwalazi and Nosipho Ndebele from Emdeni, Soweto in Gauteng Province – bonded by their social and financial struggles – formed an IT company known as System32Digital and Graphics Solutions a.k.a System32Digital. The company is based in Soweto and specialises in developing websites, mobile and computer software, apps and provides graphic design services to local and international clients.
“In the current world characterised by IT, we believe that every child should have access to computer literacy. For this reason, we intend to offer computer studies to children aged 10 to 16 years from Soweto as from 2021. We have realised that most children from townships still do not know how computers work. We appeal to sponsors to open their hearts to sponsor these kinds of programmes in townships as part of closing technology gap between rich and poor children. At System32Digital we believe that success is more about sharing and empowering” – Vusimuzi Ngwalazi, CEO and co-founder of System32Digital, expresses.
Although is a daily struggle to attract big corporate clients while operating a business from Soweto, Vusimuzi Ngwalazi believes that “success is often linked to defeat and frustration. However, failure and hardships are necessary share of growth. Hopefully, time will come when System32Digital will be given a fair opportunity to showcase its plethora IT skills irrespective of its location.”
Nosipho Chamain Ndebele PR manger and co-founder advice to young people who wish to venture into entrepreneurship is that “entrepreneurship is not about going to grounds that are flourishing; is about inspired long term vision and building customers where there are none. An entrepreneur does not wait for customers but rather goes to barren environment and create products that appeal to potential customers.”
